Traditional Ledge Doors

Our traditional ledge doors can be either Pine or Oak ledge doors provided quality interior wood doors which are made to measure for your home. The pine and oak used to make the ledge doors is kiln dried and is hand made from tounge and groove boards with pencil beads down one side.

Ledge and brace doors are doors which are made from multiple vertical planks which are kept in place by three horizontal ledges and two diagonal planks, known as the braces. Each of the doors that we make is produced from a very high quality tongue and grooved pine with a pencil bead down the front of each plank.

The ledge doors can be framed if required and each board used is 203mm (8 inches) wide by 20mm (0.8 inch) thick. The hand made doors come fully sanded and ready for finishing.
